I am a Romanian-born visual artist and photographer based in Rome, Italy. With more than fifteen years of professional experience in food and commercial photography, my practice has gradually expanded into a broader multidisciplinary exploration encompassing fine art photography, still life, portraiture, video, ai, and painting. My work is rooted in photography and shaped by a strong interest in composition, light, colour, symbolism, and the fragile balance between ordinary objects and the meanings projected onto them. Food, natural elements, the human figure, and everyday materials often become part of visual constructions through which I explore transformation, memory, tension, identity, time, and perception. Since 2021, I have developed an increasingly experimental and internationally oriented artistic practice, moving between physical and digital contexts while keeping photography at the core of my visual language. I present my work both under my own name and, within the Web3 space, under the artistic identity TheFoodMaster. My approach combines the precision of commercial photography with the freedom of conceptual art. I use carefully constructed images to create open-ended visual narratives, allowing familiar forms to acquire unexpected meanings and apparent stability to shift through subtle changes in perspective.
